We found this place while walking around Chania - I love the idea and ordering process. You pick your sauce and then the type of pasta when ordering the pasta for your meal. We ordered the Verde salad to share as a starter, hubby ordered the shepherd with linguine and I ordered the strakati with whole wheat penne. The shepherd was a white truffle sauce qith mushrooms and bits of beef. The straki was an intensely garlic white sauce with a local specialty - straka. All dishes were excellent! The portions were very generous and I left with half of my meal. This place is very unassuming and fun - recommend the pasta highly!

Such great pasta at super reasonable prices. My wife and I were looking for eats late at night after having checked into our hotel across, and we found this great gem. The pasta portions were sizeable and the pastas we ordered were excellent. A lot of shrimp in the fishermen. I think the owner is an Italian lady.

Amazing place for fresh hand made pasta. You got to pay first at the cashier and then they'll bring your food to the table (take away possible also). Average cost per person with a small beverage: €10/12

Had the best gluten free pasta of my life!! With the „The Shepmen‘s“ sauce a really amazing dinner and service was very friendly as well. I can only recommend the restaurant!!

10/10 would recommend to a friend! Just landed from Athens, this place smelled amazing and Godspeed they had gluten free pasta. I ordered the mushroom chicken pasta and it was incredibly good. Staff was amazing and stayed open for me to finish my meal.

The owner was very friendly and speaks a good level of English. This venue is more of a takeaway than a restaurant. Having said that, you can also dine here too. Pasta and ingredients are fresh. I had The Fisherman pasta, you can tell instantly the prawn is fresh and not frozen like they served in England. The price is reasonable too for a city! Check up the menu! Portion size is great too. The only "complaint" i would point out, they served the pasta in a biodegradable container rather than a dish. I have no problem with this choice while others might prefer a better visual presentation . Highly recommended!

The open kitchen is a fantastic feature; you get to watch the chef expertly craft your meal right in front of you. It's a small, more of a take-out spot, but they do have a few seats if you want to sit and savor your dish on the spot. The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the owner is clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you're grabbing a quick meal to go or sitting down to enjoy, Pasta Al Mano offers a delightful experience. Highly recommended!
